Spectrum and Verizon Wireless customers in the Casper area were left without the grid for a second night on Wednesday.

Spectrum described the outage as a "technical issue", which caused service disruptions through 8 p.m. Wednesday. "Service was restored to most customers by 1 a.m., and all services were fully restored by 5 a.m.," he said in an email to Oil City News. "We appreciate our customers' patience and are committed to providing reliable service."

He said services from both Spectrum and Verizon Wireless were disrupted around the same time Tuesday night after a fiber optic cable was accidentally cut by a third party.
